We know that learning is easier when you have an excellent teacher in the classroom and a host family for out of the classroom. That's why our team members have achieved an advanced degree or have years of experience in their field, including host families with years of hosting experience with students from around the world. Students are not required to live with a family, however, we strongly recommend the experience.
Our #1 goal is to ensure every student has an opportunity to advance in their education. Previous students have said that by having a support team in and out of the classroom helped them to learn more quickly.
Many students intend to apply for a University Admission in the United States. Our teaches and coaches have experience assisting students with the application process, from forms and documents to rereading essays.
Agents and Program Directors are encouraged to consider how ScholarStar can enhance your students' experiences with direct contact. If your students are beginners, experts, or somewhere in between, all students will develop their interest as they progress in specialized programming. The first step is to contact ScholarStar to start planning your educational advancement program. From living with host families to enrolling in courses, both add value leading to successful University Admission. Previous student groups have created one-two-three week programs with a balance of site tours with dedicated American tour guides to teach students about the places, the people, and the special features relevant to the group. Imagine the impact on a student when they experience Art in the Park, Sand Castle building at the ocean shoreline, aerodynamics while flying a kite, music from a rock musician, and many more types fun learning experiences are possible.
Our mission is to embrace the pursuit of excellence both inside and outside the classroom. We encourage critical thinking, writing, and speaking. Students learn in many ways and our team and host families are here to give support for success that can last a lifetime.
Students can chose from renting an apartment, or a private room with a Host Family. Contact ScholarStar for availability of Housing.
Host Families contribute to the success of a student by helping with questions about cultural differences. Living in a different country brings great opportunities for students to explore the how other cultures live on a daily basis. By living in a home with others, a student has direct resources to help guide them with their new questions about "how to do " this or that. Commonly asked topics include banking, transportation, community events, communication tips, and help with educational assignments. Host Family room rental contracts are made on availability basis.
