About Us
Scholar Star Support team: Teachers, Mentors, & Coaches
We know that learning improves when you have an excellent teacher in the classroom and a host family outside the classroom. The ScholarStar team is experienced in their field, including host families with years of experience hosting students from around the world. Students are not required to live with a family; however, we strongly recommend homestay for at least one month to gain more cultural experience.
Our #1 goal is to ensure every student has an opportunity to advance in their education. Previous students appreciate having a support team in and out of the classroom to help them to learn more quickly.
Many students intend to apply for university admission in the United States. Our teachers and coaches have experience assisting students with the application process, from forms and documents to reviewing essays.
Student Programs
Agents and Program Directors are encouraged to consider how ScholarStar can enhance your students' experiences with direct contact. The first step is to contact ScholarStar to start planning your educational advancement program. From living with host families to enrolling in courses, both add value and lead to successful University Admission. Previous student groups have created one- to two-week programs with a balance of site tours and dedicated American tour guides to teach students about the places, the people, and the special features relevant to the group. Imagine the impact on a student when they blend having fun with learning. Beyond making friends with students from other regions, popular experiences include Art in the Park, Sandcastle building at the shoreline, aerodynamics while flying a kite, music from a rock musician, and other fun learning experiences.

The Scholar Star team encourages active interaction between exchange students and homestay parents to help individuals deepen their understanding of themselves and others.

Host Families contribute to a student's success by helping them understand cultural differences. Living in a different country brings opportunities for students to explore how other cultures live on a daily basis. The newest benefit of international education is for exchange students, as global citizens, to create pathways for building future communities. Scholar Star believes in the value of matching students to a local host family based on personal expectations for cultural learning, belonging, and lifetime friendships.
